Mitsitron (they/them) is a musician, creative coder, and program maker. They have been developing a queer methodology for sound making, caring about how Western binaries, politics of technology, and heritage influence the ways we listen and voice. Since 2024, with the Platform for Extratonality, they have been organizing workshops and performance nights that encourage non-dominant ways of sound making, while engaging with experimentation, DIY/DIWO practices, and criticality. Since January 2025, they have been members of the collective space Varia in Rotterdam, where they organize events on everyday technology, centering home-brewing practices, access, and counter-coloniality in relation to technology. They are currently programming an exhibition for the showroom MaMA, focusing on grief as a personal and political transformative process.
