The data we produce and share can be collected and analyzed to gain new insights, corroborate narratives and recognize patterns. This workshop will look at the theory and practice of digital methods to augment classical approaches of investigative work.
By looking at case studies we introduce tools and methodologies from the field of data based investigations. In the workshop we will cover different types of data based investigations with a focus on publicly available data.
