A new improvised modular synthesizer performance for AMRO 2026. This performance will be in opposition to the passifying nature of LLM-powered human-machine conversation. Instead, it positions the artist as both the designer of a technological system (a modular synthesizer patch), and its conversation partner (the player of the patch). This system is deliberately complicated, inscrutible, and non-repeatable. The music will be slow, deliberate, contemplative, aiming to create a space for reflection, instrospection, and good brain-tingles.
