Birgit Bachler is an Austrian artist, designer and researcher previously based in Rotterdam/NL and Wellington/The Whanganui-a-Tara/NZ recently settled again back home in Styria. Birgit has a background in interactive, audiovisual art, critical media design and hard- and software art.

Birgit Schneider is a media and visual studies scholar with a strong interest in environmental humanities. She is professor for knowledge cultures and media environments at Potsdam University, Institute for Arts and Media, European media studies. Her current research focuses on the visual communication of climate since 1800 and a genealogy of climate change visualization inbetween science, aesthetics and politics.

Brendan Howell is an artist and a reluctant engineer. He is the creator of numerous interactive artworks and inventions. Additionally, he has spent a lot of time teaching digital practices in applied and fine arts at various European higher education institutions. He lives in Berlin, Germany but can often be found walking in wooded areas of Northern Europe or enjoying pastoral life in Hacksneck, Virginia, USA with his extended family.

The collective BridA was founded in 1996 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where its members Jurij Pavlica, Sendi Mango and Tom Kerševan completed their studies.

Having grown up on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains in western Canada, where a seemingly endless wild gives way to the rapidly expanding influence of human hubris, Byron was compelled to make things that ask unanswerable questions. He pursued a degree in art at The University of Calgary before wandering the islands of the South Pacific, finally finding himself in Buffalo, New York where he obtained an MFA in Emerging Practices at The University at Buffalo. He now teaches Electronic Art, Intermedia and Painting at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Błażej Kotowski is a researcher and a sound artist, pursuing his PhD at Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona where he specialises in the intersection of sound and artificial intelligence. Kotowski's work, through speculative practices, explores the epistemic implications and the transformative potential of predictive technologies. With special focus on the notion of cyber sublime, in his diverse endeavours he examines the evocative nature of sound, pushing boundaries and challenging traditional notions of sonic experiences.

Cachichi is a creative studio and curatorial platform for sound art and experimental music, born in Barcelona, currently based in Linz, Austria. Through experimental music happenings, radio shows and dj sets, Cachichi seeks to give audibility to unheard sounds and to establish a network of creative commons between artists.

Caroline Sinders is a machine-learning-design researcher and artist. For the past few years, she has been examining the intersections of technology's impact in society, interface design, artificial intelligence, abuse, and politics in digital, conversational spaces. Sinders is the founder of Convocation Design + Research, an agency focusing on the intersections of machine learning, user research, designing for public good, and solving difficult communication problems. Currently, she is a fellow with the Harvard Kennedy School exploring trust patterns designed to trick users in social networks.
