Open Tools for Tangible Interaction - canceled
This workshop will cover the development of tangible interactive surfaces, including topics such as multi-touch interfaces and physical interaction. The TUIO protocol is an open community standard which has been designed for the simplified realization of tangible surface applications. Apart from an introduction to the open source reacTIVision software the workshop will give an overview about the general techniques and tools developed and used by the open source multi-touch community.
Capacity: 12 persons
The participants should have experience in at least one of the following programming environments: Processing, Pure Data, Java or C++. Please bring your own laptop with a working Linux installation and a suitable external camera that is supported by your distribution.
