The Practical objectives introduces to basic circuit development, welding and electronics to create a physical Netbot.

What are digital shadows? How are they created, and can you minimise or modify them? Though it is never possible to completely erase your digital shadow, there are strategies, tools and tactics that you can use to play with, mess with, or minimise it. This session will look at some of these, and discuss which ones might be worth trying out, and why.

About:
“To trade in the living, rather than to trade in dead presidents” …
What if all of our transactions in life were in fact transactions in life itself? What if our system of value was entirely woven into the very fabric of the living, the dead, the digital and all the data and networks in-between?
12:30 – 13:30
“Behind the Smart World”
Exhibition in conjunction with AMRO 2016: Waste(d)!
13:00 – 15:45
Occupy WiFi is a public performance piece, wireless art installation and hacktivism tool for the post-Snowden era all at once. It takes advantage of the most basic human need: the constant hunger for open WiFi networks in public space.
In this project we use mobile routers to create temporary, autonomous, off-grid networks, a pseudo-darknet, a sphere of free anonymous speech in places activists can't have their voices heard in, like: Israeli Ministry of Interior or a municipal museum. This is a virtual, site-specific, protest in an actual place.
14:00 – 15:00
How does your browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and so on) affect your experience of the internet? How might your browser leave you open to tracking and profiling? This session focuses on tools and strategies for gaining more control over your data traces, by looking 'under the hood' of your browser, into settings and configurations; discussing strategies of use; and exploring a few specific add-ons and extensions.

Pure Capital is a live performance based on The Storm That Shelters... installation.
The work consists of bespoke software which is entirely driven by a real time market data.
Visual data-structures and clouds of sound grains deliver the final aesthetic experience.
Pure Data, which is lingua franca of computer music and sound art, is deliberately used in a way that blurs a distinction between trading instruments and those belonging to a radical music. The software implementates many financial indicators well known from exchange markets.
22:30 – 23:40
23:00 – 23:40
Industrial noise and digital sound processing meets multi space projections: “Embedded Artist” is a media performance by Malte Steiner and Wolfgang Spahn. For the performances and installations both artists developed the Embedded Art System, a multi visual modular system based on the Raspberry Pi. In addition to digital sound syntheses the electro-magnetic pollution of the used gear- and servo-motors creates an unique sound composition.
00:00 - 24:00
Hallogenerator is a multimedia electro saga of fortuneless party robot from the future. His software, assigned for eliminating humans, has been corrupted by the virus mutants during the transport. The robot has been successfully booted but only in a party mode.
Hallogenegator is displaying the contrast between the digital world of computers and biomorphic world of human where both parties are failing and winning at the same time in a dark atmosphere of the unpredictable context.
