Seven Manifolds

"Seven Manifolds" is a narrative journey not through the physical realm but within the digital pathways of latent space, through a series of immersive sonic environments. Borrowing from the classic idea of a soundwalk, but navigating through the abstract dimensions of neural networks, it plays a role of a spiritual successor of the original concept. The soundscapes are crafted from both original and generated field recordings, born in the moment, through network bending techniques. Participants are invited to sit comfortably, close their eyes, and let the accompanying light effects guide the auditory experience. This setup aims to conjure a collective dream, a shared journey through imaginary spaces where familiar soundscapes are distorted into surreal realms. "Seven manifolds" seeks to immerse its audience in a world where the boundaries between real and synthetic, familiar and uncanny, are blurred, offering a unique exploration of a truly productive potential of AI in sound art.
